In development
Several other publications are in early stages of development. We don’t announce specific titles until they’re closer to production. Contact us to work on future projects.
On our publishing philosophy
We publish slowly on purpose. The K–12 educational materials market is full of curriculum products that were assembled quickly to satisfy a specific funding cycle or chase a passing trend. We’re trying to do something different — to build a catalog of materials that hold up over years, that teachers can adopt without worrying that the publisher will disappear or that the content will become dated within a season.
Practically, that means each title takes longer to develop than is commercially efficient. How Public Utilities Work‘s content went through several years of pedagogical revision, review by current and former teachers, review by STEM.org, and detailed proofreading before publication. We expect our other titles to follow the same path.
If you’ve adopted How Public Utilities Work and would like to know what we’re working on next, the best way to stay in touch is through the educator newsletter and by following any future announcements on this site.
