Privacy Policy

Effective Date: June 1, 2026

1. About this policy

Utility Campus, LLC (“Utility Campus,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) publishes K–12 STEM curriculum and operates this website at utilitycampus.com. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect personal information when you visit this website or submit information through it.

We believe in collecting as little personal information as we reasonably can, using it only for the purposes for which it was provided, and giving you meaningful choices about your data. This policy explains what that looks like in practice.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide directly. If you submit a quote-request form, a contact form, or any other inquiry through this website, we collect the information you choose to provide. This typically includes your name, your institutional affiliation, your email address, your phone number, your shipping address, and an estimated quantity of copies you are inquiring about. We do not collect information you do not voluntarily provide.

Information collected automatically. When you visit this website, our hosting provider’s web server logs request information that is automatically collected by any web server — your IP address, your browser type, the page you requested, and the date and time of the request. This information is logged for security and operational purposes and is not used to track individual visitors across sessions or sites.

Cookies. This website uses a small number of strictly necessary cookies for site functionality — for example, to maintain a logged-in session for site administrators, and to remember that you have viewed the cookie notice. We do not use cookies for advertising, behavioral tracking, or cross-site profiling.

Analytics. This website does not currently use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other third-party analytics service. We do not track visitor behavior on the site. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide notice.

3. How we use your information

We use the information you submit through forms on this website solely to respond to your inquiry and fulfill your request. Specifically:

  • Quote-request information is used to prepare a price quote, communicate with you about your potential order, and fulfill your order if you proceed.
  • Contact-form messages are used to respond to your inquiry.
  • Server log information is used for security monitoring, troubleshooting, and operational purposes.

We do not use your information for marketing emails, newsletters, or promotional outreach unless you have specifically opted in to receive such communications.

4. How we share your information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share information only as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was provided, or as required by law.

Fulfillment partners. If you place an order through our quote-request process, we share your shipping address and order details with IngramSpark, our print-on-demand and fulfillment partner, solely for the purpose of producing and shipping your order. IngramSpark’s handling of that information is governed by its own privacy policy.

Service providers. We use third-party service providers for web hosting (GoDaddy), email delivery, and form processing. These providers receive only the information necessary to perform their services and are contractually limited in how they may use it.

Legal compliance. We may disclose information if required to do so by law, by court order, or by valid government request. We will provide notice to affected individuals when legally permitted to do so.

5. How long we keep your information

We keep your information only for as long as we need it for the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by law. Specifically:

  • Quote-request information for inquiries that do not result in orders is retained for one (1) year, then deleted.
  • Order information for completed orders is retained for seven (7) years for tax and business-record purposes, then deleted.
  • Contact-form messages are retained for one (1) year, then deleted.
  • Server logs are retained for ninety (90) days, then deleted or archived in anonymized form.

6. Your rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal information. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information in Section 11.

Right of access. You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.

Right of correction. You may request correction of any inaccurate information we hold about you.

Right of deletion. You may request that we delete personal information we hold about you, subject to limited exceptions for information we are required to retain by law (such as tax records related to completed orders).

Right of objection. You may object to specific uses of your information. If we are processing your information based on legitimate interest, you may request that we stop.

Right of portability. You may request a copy of your information in a structured, commonly used format.

We will respond to verifiable requests within thirty (30) days. There is no fee for exercising these rights.

7. Visitors from outside the United States

Utility Campus, LLC is located in the United States, and information you submit through this website is processed in the United States. If you are visiting from outside the United States — particularly from the European Union, the United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions with comprehensive data protection laws — please be aware that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

We have designed this Privacy Policy and our data practices to be consistent with the principles of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including data minimization, purpose limitation, and the rights described in Section 6. By submitting information through this website, you consent to the transfer and processing of your information in the United States.

8. Children’s privacy

This website is operated by a publisher of K–12 educational materials. The website itself is directed primarily at educators, parents, and institutional purchasers — not at children directly. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of thirteen (13). If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under thirteen, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

The educational materials we publish are intended for use by students under the supervision of teachers and parents. Use of those materials does not require submission of any information through this website.

9. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information you submit, including secure transmission (HTTPS encryption) for all form submissions, restricted access to administrative systems, and standard security practices on our hosting environment. No system is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee that information will never be accessed, disclosed, or altered without authorization. If we become aware of a security breach affecting your information, we will notify you and the appropriate authorities as required by applicable law.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, applicable law, or services we use. When we make material changes, we will update the Effective Date at the top of this page and provide reasonable notice (such as a notice on our homepage). The current version of this policy is always available at utilitycampus.com/privacy.

11. Contact us

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, or if you want to exercise any of the rights described in Section 6, contact us.

We will respond to your inquiry within thirty (30) days.
